Your Guide to Apartments in Rockwell
Residents of Rockwell apartments will settle right in to the good feeling of history in pride in this small North Carolina town. With fewer than 2,000 residents, it has a sense of ownership to its rich history. A beautiful, recently updated park, a museum and plenty of restaurants and shopping make it a great place to live.
Rockwell Park features about 13 acres for playtime activities, including covered picnic areas, a one third mile walking and jogging trail, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground equipment and bathrooms. The nice gazebo, higher in elevation than the rest of the park, allows Rockwell apartment dwellers to just read a book or observe the activities at the park that accommodates over 270 people. The Historic Rockwell Museum formerly housed the Post Office and shows much of the town's historical records and memorabilia of the early years here.
A revitalization of downtown has been taking place in recent years, with restaurants, coffee shops and interesting home décor and clothing to be found here. But just 30 minutes away is the larger city of Charlotte, and Concord is even closer when you can't find what you're looking for in town.
